It’s here! It’s here! The First ever San Diego Surf Film Festival will be starting at Bird’s Surf Shed (1091 West Morena Blvd) in T-1 hour and going strong all weekend into Sunday night.

The festival will feature films from around the world that have an emphasis on strong story lines and content–not your average ‘surf porn’.

We Ruthless Hippies feel like the price of admission is worth it just to see the inside of Bird’s surf shed (pictured above) with it’s hundreds of vintage boards. Throw 13 feature films, 22 shorts, music from the Red Fox Tails, Mattson 2 and Seth Pettersen into the mix and you’re there bro!
