Mohammed Qiang at Bar Leucadian Big Wednesday

Mohammed is the world’s most common first name and Qiang is the world’s most common last name. Put them together and you have Mohammed Qiang, an uncommonly groovy new band from San Diego. With sultry bass lines and vocals from Sasha and eerie beats and samples from John Paul, Mohammed Qiang create a unique musical atmosphere perfect for sipping $2.50 cans of whatever the beer of the month is at Bar Leucadian–which works out nicely because that’s where they will be playing this Wednesday (3/28) night at 9:30PM (1542 N Coast Hwy 101 Encinitas). Catch ’em now before they play some other place that has a cover charge.
