If you’ve never been to Leucadia Artwalk before, here’s a little taste of what it’s like…
We’ll have a few thousand happy people walking up and down the 101, digging bargain priced works of art by awesome local artists. When these people get tired they can just hop on the FREE magic bus running north and south all day.
Tents filled with paintings, sculpture, prints, crafts and you name it!
Oh yea…and even though we forgot to put ourselves on the poster…the Ruthless Hippies put together all fifteen of these sick local bands playing at 7 different locations:
Leucadia Glass:
AM (11am-1:30pm) – Jenk’s Band (topical encinitas protest folk and stuff)
PM – (2pm-4:30pm) – Tropical Breeze (traditional hawaiian/ukulele/hula)
Gold Coast Plaza:
AM – Kainga Music (Keli, Semisi’s son’s steel drum school)
PM – Semisi & Fula Bula (island grooves)
Noni’s Salon / The Stone Brewery Beer Garden ($5 Beers support Leucadia 101 Main Street Association)
11-12:30 – Yovee (rawk)
1-2:30 – So*Cal Vibes (dancehall reggae)
3-4:30 – The Blue Moonies (funk soul brothers)

AM – Thieves of the American Dream (instrumental post rock)
PM – Encinitas School Of Music (various styles)
Corner Frame Shop
AM – Julie Cowley (a woman, a guitar and a plan)
PM – Peter Hall (a man, a guitar and a plan)
