North County Sounds Over and Under Ground this Friday, Saturday and Sunday

The bar formerly known as Yogi’s has reopened under new ownership as Tower 13. It looks really nice inside and there’s better beer selection now. All the more reason to go catch some good groovin’ island vibes with Semisi & FulaBula tonight 8:30-11:30.

This Saturday from 5PM-7PM, Ruthless Hippies approved Encintas City Council candidate Tony Kranz is throwing a cool little concert at his house in Leucadia (1086 Hygeia Avenue) and you’re all invited. Darius Degher and his daughter Cleopatra will be performing there unique style of folk on October 6th, from 5-7 p.m. Here’s the event’s Facebook Page should you need more info. Go support Tony and hear some good tunes!

When that’s all done head down the block…

The fine people over at Surfy Surfy (974 N coast Hwy 101) are having a party for the 10th anniversary of a very cool surfing magazine called Slide. Come on out this Saturday for some music, beverages, food, raffle, surf movies and more.

Music by bad ass local jazz outfit, Boaz!

Sunday Sounds!

This Sunday at Old California Restaurant Row (1020 San Marcos Boulevard, San Marcos) Kinetic will perform a two hour set as a trio. They will perform a nice eclectic blend of indie, blues, jazz, and alternative, both originals and memorable cover tunes. It is FREE, ALL AGES. As there will be show cars from local car clubs, the works of local craftsman and artists on exhibit, and people coursing threw Old Cali’s boutiques, Kinetic will be rolling out the good vibes and musical strides!

Mike Rudolph : Vox/Keys
Nolan Greene : Drums
TimMcNalley : Bass

Come out and support ’em! Kinetic would love to spend some time with you guys and share a little bit of their hard-earned, creative works.
