By now, we Ruthless Hippies have figured out that Thir-Thur stands for Third Thursday and happens to be a cool open mic for those of the poetic and spoken word persuasion. Here’s where/when is happens:

This month’s open mic will feature a group of local talent: Eileen Carole, Marie Decker, Jermane Cooper, Karla Cordero, Gennene Wilburn, Kevin Dublin, Nancy Jean, and Stacy Dyson.

Because our feature is so plentiful the open mic portion of the show will be done in triplets. Three readers will be called to the mic at a time to read one piece each. Come get juxtaposed with a stranger or plan a multi-voice performance.

This months feature and audio equipment are made possible by the San Marcos Arts Council and San Marcos Foundation.
