There’s not usually fun stuff to do on Tuesday nights, but tonight (3/5) is another story. Our friends in Trouble in the Wind will be playing the Belly Up with two other excellent San Diego rock bands: Mrs. Henry and North Beach (formerly the Short Eyes).
Check out this sweet new video our friends at the Broken Bridge Collective made for Trouble in the Wind.
The long haired rockers known as Mrs. Henry allegedly turned 94.9’s studio into a ‘dutch oven’ this Sunday during their radio interview with Tim Pyles. On or off the beans, they wail. Catch Tim’s local San Diego music show every Sunday 9- midnight. It’s way better than regular 94.9. Here’s some Mrs. Henry.
North Beach used to be known as the Short Eyes. They play a style of rock that they went ahead and labeled ‘dirt pop’. We at Ruthless Hippies love superfluous genre names and commend them on this. Enjoy a live clip from North Beach.
So yea, go to the Belly Up tonight, it’s only $8!!!
