We have another Poetry Ruckus coming up on June 19th at Ducky Waddle’s Emporium (414 N Coast Hwy 101) and it will feature none other than Old Hermit Named Dave. Dave is a permanent fixture at Winston’s in Ocean Beach. Well known around the comedy circuit for his riffs on daily news headlines, Dave is also a poet who is fiercely critical of religion and politics. He’s legitimately a hermit, which means we have to drive down to OB to pick him up. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see the Hermit perform outside of his OB cave! And if you like what you see–or better yet–if you don’t like his set, you can see Dave get roasted for his 80th birthday party on July 12th in his natural habitat (Winston’s in OB of course).
