Steve Kowit is a poet, essayist, teacher, workshop facilitator and all-around no good troublemaker, according to his website.

We here at the Ruckus know first hand what a trouble maker Steve Kowit is. We have him on camera, mocking academia at the June 22nd 2011 Poetry Ruckus.

That was the last time we had Steve as a guest, and what a night it was! So come on out to Ducky Waddle’s Emporium (414 N Coast Hwy 101) on Wednesday December 18th and catch Kowit’s next classic performance. Doors open 7 PM, poetry kicks off at 7:30 and Steve takes the stage at 9.

Here’s more of trouble maker Steve, making fun of those poets who overstay their welcome on stage.
