Art Around Adams, Encinitas Environment Day, Arts Alive Banner Auction

This Saturday is Art Around Adams! It’s a great street fair with 2 miles worth of music and art to walk and enjoy in Kensington and Normal Heights. Get down there for the day!art around adams 2014_banner

The 101 Artists Colony/Cardiff 101/Leucadia 101 Arts Alive Banner auction will be taking place this Sunday. Go buy one of those great banners you’ve seen hanging up along the 101 through Encinitas all spring!

Sunday, June 8, 2:00 pm at Cardiff Town Center at the corner of San Elijo Rd at Birmingham, Cardiff.

Professional auctioneer, Rich Houk, volunteers his services for the live auction.  This is a free event open to the public.  It is so much fun. Come to the auction and meet our artists and most important, purchase fine art at a fraction of its true value!

And after the auction, you should mozy over Encinitas Environment Day at Cottonwood Creek Park to check out “An Enjoyable & Educational Community Event – Family activities, food, eco art, entertainment. Learn the latest strategies for healthy life styles, conservation, sustainability.”

June 14th – L101 After Hours Encinitas Library concert – Borders and Boundaries – classical, jazz and electronic all rolled into one boundary pushing evening of performances. Featuring: Nathan Hubbard, Chris Golinski, Ine Vanoeveren and more.

June 18th – Ruckus featuring the WORLD REKNOWNED POET Jerome Rothenberg!!!

June 27th & 28th – Summer Fun on the 101 – this is our big music festival we do every year in Leucadia. We hope you come!
