Hey Ruckus Heads! We are super pumped to be celebrating our 5th Anniversary/Halloween costume party Ruckus with none other than Keith Shillington as our guest poet.

For those who don’t know, Keith is a local Leucadian who opened E-Street Cafe with his partner Bob Nanninga. Bob passed away in 2009 but is fondly remembered by the many people he inspired in Encinitas through his art, acting, activism, teaching, directing and poetry.

Copies of Bob’s collected works of poetry will be on sale!

Please get into the spirit of things and wear a Halloween costume. Doors are at 7 PM, open poetry will start at 7:30 and our guest will take the stage around 9. Ducky Waddle’s Emporium is located at 414 N Coast Hwy 101 in Leucadia just south of Lou’s Records.

Thanks to all who have read or listened at a Ruckus over the last five years! We love you and we look forward to a great celebration and many more years of poetry.
