Come out and  enjoy an evening of live music with local artists Jack Tempchin, Cindy Lee Berryhill, The Sham Saints, featuring Darius Degher, and guest Alex Woodard.

Famed songwriter Jack Tempchin headlines the evening and is known for penning some of the most durable tunes in American music for a variety of artists that includes the Eagles, George Jones, Glenn Frey, Randy Meisner, Glen Campbell, Emmylou Harris, Trisha Yearwood and many others. He’s also co-written with a who’s who of American roots, rock and R&B composers that embraces Tom Waits, J.D. Souther, Bobby Whitlock, Jim Lauderdale and Beth Nielsen Chapman.

One of the key early figures in the ’80s anti-folk movement, singer and songwriter Cindy Lee Berryhill‘s music combines a deeply personal point of view and an edgy wit leavened with a compassion for the world around her.

The Sham Saints features features singer-songwriters Darius Degher (five critically-lauded CDs and a 2014 poetry collection) and Michael Packard (also a veteran of the 90s L.A. alternative folk-rock scene). Together they make lyric-centered, psychedelia-tinged Americana with lots of guitars and vocal harmonies, along with Gary Reed Johnson on drums, and Mark Windrum on 6-string bass.

This is gonna be a killer night! Support the La Paloma and come see three of Encinitas’ finest musical groups.
