Here’s some more or less accurate history of Jay Cain’s open mic for you people: It started in Jay’s backyard, moved to Uncle Duke’s, was booted from Uncle Duke’s for being too awesome. The show enjoyed a golden age or renaissance of sorts at the Bar Leucadian for a couple years until the man shut that place down. It provided Leucadia with a mad funkin Sunday Funday at Calypso…and now Jay’s Open Mic is having its debut event tonight at Woody’s(437 S Hwy 101 Solana Beach) @ 8:30-11:30PM.
