Poetry Ruckus with Tom Whayne 4/15/15

Come on out to the Poetry Ruckus on Tax Day 2015 (Wednesday April 15th). Doors are at 7 PM. We’ll have open poetry from 7:30- 8:30 and our guest Tom Whayne will take the stage at 9 PM.

Tom will read from his book of love poems Of Strength and Grace: Elegy for Love. This book of poems captures the love, beauty, pain and anguish of Tom’s 23 year relationship with Katherine Wilson. It features magnificent photos by Jane Paradise and will be on sale at the Duck

Tom is a local San Diego poet born in Oakland in 1924. He has studied at UC Berkley, Stanford and Harvard Law and spent many years as a docent at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. He has wowed the crowd at the Poetry Ruckus recently and we are very pleased to give him the guest spot on April 15th!

  1. Hi, just saw this on a friends email and hoping you can add me to the list of future events.

Ruthless hippies in Leucadia are right up my alley! Literally 🙂
